The OKG is proud to offer a virtual (Zoom) option for members who are not able to attend meetings in
person.
Monthly Guild meetings may be in one of three formats:
- Hybrid meetings are those where the Zoom meeting is connected to the in-person meeting.
Prepare your show and tell items to show off on camera, and don’t forget to send in your pictures and
details
to our newsletter to be featured in The Tangled Skein!
- In-Person meetings are those where the Zoom meeting is NOT connected to the in-person
meeting. Feel free to use the Zoom meeting to knit and chat with your fellow virtual OKG members! Note
that these Zoom meetings are un-moderated and no host will be present.
- Zoom Only meetings are those where there is no in-person option, and the entire event
will take place on Zoom.
A few things to note:
- Door prizes must be picked up at an in-person meeting (prizes will no longer be mailed or delivered). To
be entered in the draw, Zoom participants will be asked to confirm 1) their name and 2) that they can pick
up or arrange pick up of a prize at a future meeting. Both in-person and Zoom participants must be present
at the time of the drawing to win.
- Zoom meetings will not be recorded. You must attend on the date and time of the event to participate.
- Unless otherwise stated, the in-person camera will always be pointed toward the front of the meeting
hall. As an in-person
participant, if you have "Show and Tell” items (or otherwise speak to the group) but do not wish to be on
camera, please let the host know in advance.
